Rob lights plays, musicals, buildings, live events and more, his work encompassing productions of all scales.

He has lit shows in the West End, in New York, touring the UK and US and more, in venues ranging from drama schools to theatres to giant tents to aircraft hangers.

His aim is always to make the show look beautiful, fully supporting the cast, the director and the scenic and costume designers. To make the building come alive. To make whatever he's lighting just that little bit better.

He likes to be involved as early as possible, helping to shape the overall production - but, equally, often gets called in at the last minute to bring magic to a show.

Where necessary, he can assist with tight budgets by combining his work as lighting designer with his work as programmer.

His many years of experience with mounting and re-mounting both his own shows and shows for other lighting designers means his designs not only look great, but also work to solve all of the practical problems of getting the show on - in terms of rigging, scheduling and budget - and of documenting the shows, so they stay looking great throughout their life or on tour.
